神明桌後是樓梯該如何化解?

1.五樓神明廳屬於屋頂突出物,改造後神明桌後是實牆,但牆後就是樓梯,請問大大,有何化解之法?感恩...
2.家父病倒後,行動不便,無法上五樓拜拜,家母也不會拜,想到才上樓去,這樣是不是對菩薩和祖先不敬,因為我沒和父母住一起.只有回去時才上神明廳打掃.聽說家裡神明和祖先若不點香供養的話,會退神,是真的嗎?我該怎麼做才會比較圓滿呢?感恩....
