Tiger Woods在英國公開賽與前桿弟Steve Williams在英國公開賽握手上演大和解戲碼， Williams之後證實，兩人已無心結，握手並非做做樣子而已。

德意志銀行賽Woods與 Adam Scott還有Phil Mickelson要同組出發，替Scott背球袋的 Williams，很難不讓人把他與Woods做聯想，畢竟兩人拆夥後處得並不是很好。

「俗話說，時間可以治療一切。」 Williams說，那些事情都過去了，經過兩年多的惡言相向，現在彼此已經沒有嫌隙。

兩人拆夥後，在球場上碰到，都是敷衍性地握手， Williams說，美國公開賽時，他就感覺自己讓Woods很不自在，於是決定碰面時要說點什麼。

當英國公開賽最後一輪，兩人有碰頭的機會，Williams問Woods說，最近有無看賽車比賽，這樣的破冰方式，或許只有兩人才懂。

因為賽車是Williams的興趣，兩人合作期間，Woods也受影響變成觀眾之一，然後兩人問了彼此的近況。

有趣的是，Williams跟Mickelson也有恩怨，不過兩人同樣和解，這一組不但是世界排名前三的組合，同時也充滿不少話題。
