美國股市週三（11月20日）開盤前股指期貨基本持平，關注今日多項經濟數據以及稍晚將公佈的聯準會會議記錄。道瓊指數期貨小漲4點報15,938，標普五百指數期貨小漲0.1點報1,785.10，納斯達克100指數期貨小漲1點報3,376.50。

週三公佈的多項數據當中，10月份零售銷售預計持平，主要受到聯邦政府關門的影響；10月份成屋銷售年率預估較前月的529萬戶下滑至510萬戶，主要受到房貸利率較去年同期攀高的影響；10月份消費者物價指數預計較前月持平，核心CPI則預期月增0.2%；9月份企業庫存則預期將月增0.3%。

Alpari U.K.分析師Craig Erlam認為，聯準會會議記錄或顯示官員對於政府關門對經濟的衝擊存有較大的不確定性；如果真是如此，聯準會或不會在12月開始縮減量化寬鬆政策，因需要較長時間確定經歷政府關門之後經濟仍持續復甦。
