副總統吳敦義今（4）日上午參加在苗栗舉辦的慶祝世界紅十字日暨志工表揚大會，他肯定紅十字會在台灣的人道救援工作中，扮演重要角色。吳副總統等人並頒獎表揚績優志工，今天接受表揚的志工包括成人志工461位及青少年志工167位，他們分別具備急救推廣、水上安全等不同專業，也有大專紅十字救傷服務隊與急救推廣社的服務績優團隊，其中，有6位志工服務時間長達20年3000小時。
