菲籍模範媽媽自責　「願下跪向台灣人民道歉」

菲律賓配偶徐妙如上周剛獲選移民署模範母親，卻因菲律賓政府處理台灣漁民遭槍殺的態度而自責，今天特地到平日擔任志工的台東服務站，先彎腰向大家道歉，甚至說：「如果可以的話，我願意下跪向台灣人民道歉」。
 
中央社報導，妙如說：「菲律賓政府這樣對台灣漁民，我覺得很不好意思」她說，昨天看到新聞很難過，今天特別到服務站表達歉意。
 
報導指出，服務站人員看了很心酸，還安慰她不要這麼自責，也沒有必要下跪。專員陳允萍告訴她，「沒關係，妳現在已有中華民國的身分證，妳是台灣人了」。
 
報導提到，妙如上週剛獲選移民署模範母親，從1997年開始擔任通譯志工，協助新移民通譯，解決新住民語言隔閡的問題。
