租屋糾紛法律問題

有人懂法律的嗎?可以為我解一下疑惑嗎?我們有一間套房租給別人，對方搬走沒有通知我們，只請他母親歸還鑰匙！當我們去看房子房子變得髒亂不堪,家具損壞我們請求賠償無人理會只好走法律途徑！上調解他們也沒出現!結果要上法庭!現在對方收到傳票打電話給我算半恐嚇吧!叫我撤銷告訴說:如果我堅持上法院他會讓我賠政府14萬多如果我撤銷告訴還要賠他1萬他就跟我們合解，他還說他很懂法律我們一定會輸又說他上很多法庭從來沒有輸過！這樣到底是怎麽一回事丫?懂法律的可以為我解—下疑問嗎?感激不盡!!
