英國有一位體重444公斤，號稱為世界最胖的男子梅森，在醫療協助下，成功減重304公斤，還因此找到了自己的「真命天女」。

英國「每日郵報」報導，梅森是因為上一段感情創傷而暴飲暴食，引起一發不可收拾的肥胖。而在美國麻州的麗貝卡，在電視紀錄片上看到梅森的故事，深受感動的麗貝卡透過臉書與梅森取得聯繫，竭盡全力幫他獲得健康服務組織的資助，以支應他瘦身手術的費用。

他們兩人透過網路視訊的頻繁聯繫，一見如故，相談甚歡。之後，兩人就確立了男女朋友關係。梅森說，是麗貝卡身上堅決的態度和人格魅力讓他深深著迷。
