美國聯邦法院裁定任天堂公司並未違反專利，使該公司受歡迎的Wii遊戲機可以繼續在美國銷售。

美國聯邦巡迴上訴法院13日表示，維持美國國際貿易委員會（ITC）在2012年1月的判決，Motiva公司2008年指控任天堂侵害一種追蹤玩家所在地和動作的專利，並不符合提起貿易訴訟的條件。這個裁定可能讓美國企業未來更難靠侵權指控，禁止進口某些產品。
