廈門衛視新節目《雞蛋碰石頭》拐彎問林志玲，「志玲姊姊喜歡花瓶還是青花瓷？」她直言：「我喜歡大家稱我『青花瓷』，它經過千錘百煉和時間的洗禮，不管哪個年代，大家都願意鑒賞它的價值。」之前她在電影《赤壁》演小喬卻戲分少，她認為有做到花瓶的形象是她應盡責任；主演《101次求婚》則自稱就算是花瓶，也是最堅硬的花瓶。
