台鐵一列511車次莒光號上午在松山到台北間動力發生故障，經駕駛自行排除後，列車延誤十八分鐘到台北車站，並造成其他五班列車受到影響，延誤時間累計共八十一分鐘，由於剛好是上班通勤時間，台鐵統計大約有一千三百七十多人的行程受到影響。

台鐵表示，這班列車是八點四十五分從七堵發車，預計行駛到鳳山的莒光號，上午九點十五分在松山到台北間發生故障，駕駛緊急通報並進行維修，十多分鐘後重新啟動，直到九點二十八分才抵達台北車站，延誤了十八分鐘。（圖：台鐵莒光號列車台鐵提供）
