菲總統：雙方冷靜處理漁船事件

（法新社馬尼拉13日電） 菲律賓公務船10日擊斃一名台灣漁民，雙方爭議有逐漸升高趨勢，菲律賓總統艾奎諾三世今天呼籲台菲雙方冷靜處理有關事件。

艾奎諾三世說，菲律賓駐台官員已經跟台灣外交部官員會談，並保證已就發生事件進行調查。

對於台灣方面要求菲國政府道歉等條件，艾奎諾三世拒絕評論。

他不多做評論，表示最好讓外交官處理這項爭議。

艾奎諾三世說：「如果我們在那樣的（總統）層次評論，保證這個問題將會升高。」（譯者：中央社郭中翰）
